Writing is so important in all things academic, but also in the real world. Being able to write a clear, concise report is no easy thing. It takes practice, requires being observant (ie learning from the work of others), and requires much iterative refinement…and knowing when to stop (ie being able to judge the point when the changes you make are not having a significant effect on the overall quality of your work: at this point you stop!).
