We will be showcasing a range of student and staff work at our public exhibition on Thursday 24th May, 2012. This will be held in our own design studios in the Cockcroft Building and this will form part of the Fringe Festival in Brighton. The showcase will include the exhibition of second year Vitra, Magnets and Inclusive Design projects, as well as demonstrations of our kit including the haptic controllers and rapid prototyping, laser scanning and laser cutting machines. Also on show will be selected project work from our first and final year students. There will be a range of seminars delivered by our academic team on printing bones to help surgery, sports engineering in the olympics and how CAD can help design better cookware. A detailed programme is to follow with further details on what you can see and do and how we can help and work with students, researchers and local designers.
